This partnership aims to deploy Lunit’s AI solution, Lunit INSIGHT MMG, across VIDI’s extensive network of over 400 sites and 1,200 doctors. By expanding access to this innovative technology, the collaboration will significantly enhance breast cancer screening efficiency and quality in France, with VIDI’s network representing a substantial portion of the French private radiology market.
The partnership agreement was signed at JFR 2024 by representatives from Lunit and VIDI Group, including Teri Thomas, CBO of Lunit and CEO of Volpara; Amélie Libessart, VIDI Managing Director of General Operations; Réda Berrehou, VIDI Director of Partnerships; JaeMin Oh, Lunit General Manager of Business Development; and Stéphane Mercurio, Lunit Regional Manager for France.
Building on successful implementations within the network, VIDI members have been adopting Lunit INSIGHT MMG since 2021. Dr. François Pey from Coradix in Perpignan praised the solution’s high specificity and advanced deployment capabilities, emphasizing its ability to provide radiologists with confidence in their diagnoses while minimizing false positives.
The formalization of the partnership with Lunit at JFR 2024 underscores VIDI’s commitment to innovative healthcare solutions. Lunit INSIGHT MMG will now be recommended for all VIDI members, streamlining access to this cutting-edge technology and improving diagnostic capabilities.
